Disappointing

Received mower via post mower arrived with start lever in box not attached to mower. New batteries and still not working. Not even an option to fix start lever as it is that flimsy it will break no amount of glue will hold it in place. It is a gift for a 2 year old needs to have better start switch . I thought by buying Honda it would be worth it I was very wrong . Can’t actually say anything else not even sure what it sounds like / works like !

Start switch badly designed

The mower has one significant weakness, the start switch. The T shape of the start switch suggests to not only young children 2 to 4 say but also any one not familiar with the staring procedure it is a recoil start, hence necessitating that you pull it to start . In fact it requires only a gentle lifting procedure. Unfortunately my grandson from experience with other garden toys thought you pull T handle which immediately broke. It should have had clearer instructions to how to activate the noise functions. I managed to superglue it together without fitting T Handle. If any other young child comes along to use it without proper instruction likely to break it again. This was critical to the deign but was weakest part ,apart from that it is great.
