HD2 Filter
The HD2 filter is made from polyethylene filter material with up to 70% finer pores than fleece and polyamide filters to trap even very fine dust.
STIHL ElastoStart
STIHL ElastoStart reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting.
Side Chain Tensioner
The tensioning screw can be found on the side of the chain saw through the sprocket cover. This removes the need for contact with the sharp saw chain.

The STIHL MS881 Petrol Chainsaw is the world’s most powerful series-production chainsaw with an output of 6.4 kW. This extremely capable saw is entirely in its element when used for professional harvesting of large trees and in mobile sawmills. The robust MS 881 with advanced 2-MIX engine, captive nuts and stop button function is extraordinarily durable and easy to maintain.
Featuring the HD2 filter that helps keep even the finest dust away from the engine, ensuring a particularly long service life. Thanks to special material, the filter can be washed clean with the STIHL Varioclean and warm water. The special catches on the fuel and oil tanks offers easy opening and locking feature without the need for tools. It has a new oil pump design for optimum regulation to meet demand.
All important functions such as start, choke, throttle and stop are operated via a single level. In addition, it has also an Ematic System that helps reduce bar oil consumption by up to 50%. The STIHL MS881 comes with a 2-year warranty for your peace of mind.
