Intermediate Battery Position
The battery can be inserted into the device in two stages. The intermediate position as the first locking stage and the operating position as the second locking stage.

Double-Sided Cutting Blades

Two-Handed Design

Just like every tool in the compact battery range the STIHL HSA56 SET Battery Hedge Trimmer has been incredibly user friendly. It can trim a hedge 140 meters long on a single charge - all you have to concentrate on is making your hedges the envy of the street.
It's lightweight, maneuverable, quiet (no ear protection needed), virtually vibration free and it's unbelievably good at cutting hedges with a double-sided cutting blade. It also features innovative droplet-shaped blade geometry that holds twigs more effectively in the blade. The tool is easily started by activating both switches on the loop handle and the rear handle at the same time. The cutting speed is continuously variable using the rear control – for a fine and precise cut. Especially practical: the two handed design is suited for both left-handed and right-handed users.
With STIHL's standard warranty, you will enjoy peace of mind. Note that the battery and charger are sold separately. You can use either one of the following batteries AK10, AK20, AK30 with AL101 charger.
