I have lived on and maintained acreages for the last forty years and this is the least effective mower I have owned. It does not cut in reverse. This means that you have to stop, cease cutting, change gears, reverse, change gears, engage forward and then start cutting again. This is time consuming in tight areas. The cutter deck drive belt has to be treated very gently when being engaging or it will snap. There is no option about turning on the head lights. If the mower is on the lights are on. Changing cutter-deck drive belts requires dropping the cutter-deck. This was not required on other brands that I have owned and on those that did required this it was far more convenient. The instrument panel consists of a single electronic gage that is out of sight under the key and in front of your right knee. The engine has proven reliable and currently has recorded 136.6 operating hours. It would however benefit from a larger air filter or a primary and secondary air filtration system. Having the mower serviced at GYC in Smeaton Grange New South Wales has proven problematic as they have long wait periods.
