Honda HRN216VYU Petrol Lawn Mower

Never had a propelled mower before and this one feels like cheating when using it. Easy to use and gets the job done quickly. Only thing that could be improved is a single lever for cut height.

I’ve waited 30 years to experience this smooth starting, awesome sounding and precision cutting machine. From Wolf and Lawnmaster in the early days then Sanli and Masport more recently; I have certainly not been disappointed with this Honda purchase and am blown away with it’s quality. I must be in Lawnmowing Heaven...

Overall Great mower, makes big lawns a breeze. Only issue I have, is it has a bar blade not swing blades and plate. Makes cut quality a little less and lower lawns it tears a bit.

Having owned two Honda mowers over the past thirty odd years, (the first being stolen after a year) an upgrade was on the cards so I purchased a newy from GYC Mower Depot. I got the HRN216VYU model at a fantastic price. The mower is so much easier to use compared to the last Honda (HRU195) which was brilliant but thirty years older in technology compared to the new one. The only problem I have found with the new one is that the wife and son now want to use it so when do I get to have a go? That's Honda for ya!
